Sun, sand and surf were the order of the day when we stopped at Port Macquarie. We spent a wonderful week enjoying the sunshine and visiting the local sites. The first group of postcards within this set are a group that come from the Arts, Conference and Entertainment Centre. The visitors information centre is all contained within this building. As well as viewing a variety of artwork we spent time learning more about the first lady of Australian Opera, Dame Joan Sutherland. We were lucky enough to view some of her amazing costumes and learn of her talent.
