What is it about?
The Positive Postcard Project is about sharing a little positivity and love with others. It is about unity around the globe.It is fun, laughter, hope and peace between fellow man regardless of race, sex or religion. It is about sharing a little about ourselves with others around the world and learning a little about another.
How does it work?
During 2010/11 Good Gabble traveled Australia for a period of 12 months. It was during this time that the original Positive Postcard Project was born. Due to popular demand we are pleased to announce that we will be reintroducing our project but this year it will be a little different as we will not be traveling.
During the next twelve months we ask all to help us continue to spread messages of love, hope and unity from around the world. How do you do this?
The process is simple.......send us your postcard, business card, greeting card, coaster.....whatever you like....with a positive message, poem, saying, short story or quote included. The only limit is your imagination. We encourage creativity as part of the positive process and encourage handmade and designed items. The only rule is they must be of a positive nature and include at least one positive message.
As we receive your messages we will photograph them and blog them here for the world to read and will also publish them in our magazine Good Gabble which is distributed free of charge worldwide. At the end of the 12 months we hope, with the support of businesses worldwide, to be able to compile the messages and items into a book. We would also like to be able to take your messages around Australia as a display of unity, love, hope and friendship around the world.
How far this project goes is only up to the imagination of all participants and the support we can obtain from businesses. Please help us by spreading the word.
Prizes galore:
Minor prizes: Each month we will draw one lucky winner from the postcards we have received who will win a hard copy of that months issue of Good Gabble along with the book of the month which will be announced at the beginning of every month.
Most creative and most inspirational: Each month we will choose two cards that we have received within that month, one for the most creative, one for the most inspirational. These people will receive a one month hard copy subscription to good gabble and a pack of 12 photo cards.
So get creative, grab a postcard or design your own and send it to us.
There is no limit to the amount of postcards you can send but each postcard must sent seperately to count as one entry in the prize draws.Send one each month to make sure you have a chance in the monthly draw.
Don't forget to include your name and address. Do not place this on the postcard but on the back of the envelope or on a seperate sheet of paper.
